Volunteer
San Francisco Ed Fund
For individual community volunteers, the first step in getting started is to attend a two-hour orientation provided by the SF Education Fund. At the orientation you will learn more about the San Francisco Unified School District and the need for volunteers in the schools. Learn about their agency, how they place volunteers into schools, receive volunteering tips, and talk one-on-one with a SFEF staff member about your volunteering preferences and availability.
If you are interested in volunteering in a SFUSD school garden you must first be cleared to work with children. Please contact the San Francisco Education Fund and specify that you wish to work in a school garden.
